FAQ

Auto Detailing Frequently Asked Questions

What is ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating is a premium, semi-permanent protective treatment applied to your vehicle’s exterior. Forming a durable, transparent layer that enhances gloss, deepens color, and provides superior protection against UV exposure, oxidation, and road contaminants.
How does ceramic coating work?
Once applied, ceramic coating chemically bonds with your vehicle’s clear coat, creating a highly refined, hydrophobic surface. Ceramic coatings are applied exclusively in our controlled shop environment to ensure proper curing and optimal results.
How do you remove swirls from paint?
Swirl marks are removed through precision paint correction. Using professional-grade polishers, specialized pads, and premium compounds, we can carefully refine the clear coat to eliminate imperfections while maintaining safe paint thickness.
How does headlight restoration work?
Headlight restoration involves removing oxidation, haze, and surface damage from headlight lenses. The lenses are meticulously sanded and polished, then sealed with a protective coating to restore crystal-clear visibility and extend the life of the restoration.
What products are used to eliminate odors from cars?
We utilize professional odor-neutralizing solutions designed to eliminate odors at the source rather than masking them. Depending on the severity, treatments may include enzyme-based cleaners, interior steam sanitation, and advanced odor neutralization methods suitable for both mobile and in-shop services.
How do you apply paint corrections?
Each vehicle is individually assessed, followed by a tailored polishing approach to safely remove defects such as swirls, light scratches, and oxidation.
What products are used to remove stains from upholstery in cars?
We use high-end, automotive-specific cleaners formulated for leather, Alcantara, vinyl, and fabric interiors. Stains are treated using a combination of gentle agitation, steam cleaning, and extraction methods to ensure deep cleaning without compromising interior materials.
What’s the difference between washing and detailing?
A wash removes surface dirt. Detailing is a comprehensive rejuvenation of your vehicle, addressing both cosmetic and protective elements. Detailing focuses on restoring finishes, preserving materials, and delivering a level of care far beyond a standard wash—whether performed at your location or in our shop.
How long does it take?
Service time may vary based on the level of detailing needed and vehicle’s condition. Mobile detailing appointments typically range from a few hours, while advanced services such as paint correction and ceramic coating performed in our shop may require one or more days to ensure perfection.
How often should I get my vehicle detailed?
For optimal appearance and long-term preservation, we recommend professional detailing every 4–6 months. Vehicles with ceramic coatings benefit from scheduled maintenance services to maintain their finish and protective properties
Does detailing remove scratches?
Professional detailing can remove light scratches and swirl marks through paint correction. Deeper scratches that extend beyond the clear coat may be improved but cannot be fully eliminated without specialized body repair.
What about ceramic coatings vs. wax?
Wax offers temporary shine and short-term protection. Ceramic coatings provide a far more advanced level of protection, lasting multiple years instead of months. They deliver superior gloss, enhanced durability, and long-term defense against environmental damage—making them the preferred choice for luxury and performance vehicles.
